ASCENT was designed to respond to the concerns of our Gainesville community; in a series of , community members named food security, diet quality, and access to digital health tools as top priorities for cancer patients. But we believe that community involvement should not end there. We are partnering with local organizations to address study participants’ needs, and an advisory board composed of local leaders will oversee our study. Our community-based approach is a sustainable model for holistic cancer care and demonstrates our commitment to the communities we serve.
